This is a really balanced discussion, thank you! I have read too many "vibe-coding 101" style posts recently that do not touch at all on the security aspects and the judgement lens - they just end with a cringy "go ship the thing!". I realised not far into learning how to vibe code, that I would only be making tools for myself and that no matter how wonderful the tool is, that it was really just a proto-type until I could get expert eyes on it. Totally having fun though!

Thanks for saying that. I appreciate it. Exactly. I vibe code things that work for me and help me, but I wouldn't dream of trying to compete with my accounting software or my CRM.
