Parents, I need your views on AI
It's down to us to work out what we want the world to look like for our kids.
So many of you found Humans in the Loop because of the piece I wrote about preparing our kids for AI. Even four months later, when I meet someone for the first time, it is often the first thing they mention.
It struck a nerve. And I think it’s because a lot of us have strong gut feelings about AI as it relates to our children, but no real forum for expressing them and taking action.
I want to change that, and my first step is to ask for your help. I want to get a better understanding of what worries and excites real parents when it comes to AI. Not the headlines. Not the OpenAI press releases. The parents actually raising children in an AI-driven world.
So I’m starting here: with a short, anonymous survey to understand how you’re feeling about AI, what you’re seeing, and what your kids are experiencing. It takes around five minutes to complete and the more responses I get the more fuel I will have to work on this issue.
If you’re a parent, please can you take a moment to complete it? And if you know other parents who’d have something to say, I’d really appreciate you sharing it.
Thanks in advance for being part of this.
